Chamomile is one of the most popular plants used in cosmetology. At home, with it, you can quickly prepare face masks that are not inferior in effectiveness to expensive procedures in a beauty salon. Chamomile has an anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, moisturizing, nourishing and light whitening effect on the skin. All chamomile masks can be made from dried flower baskets purchased at the pharmacy and some readily available ingredients.
The benefits of chamomile for the skin.
Flower baskets are considered the most valuable in the plant. They contain a lot of bioactive substances, among which it should be noted:
- Essential oils, consisting of a large number of compounds, the most useful of them are chamazulene and bisabolol, which have high anti-inflammatory activity;

Mask with aloe and chamomile for the face, neck and décolleté.
The face, neck and chest are the places where the skin should look perfect. With age, this problem becomes more and more urgent. A mask with chamomile, honey and blue clay will come to the rescue. It will hide the first signs of skin laxity, smooth fine wrinkles and give the skin a pleasant silkiness.
For this mask, you will need: 2 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers, 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed aloe (agave) juice, 1 teaspoon of natural flower honey, 2 teaspoons of Cambrian blue clay and 5 drops of vitamin E in oil. At the end of the working day, a simple toning mask with chamomile, mint and white clay will help restore the attractiveness of the face.
You will need: one tablespoon of chamomile flowers and mint leaves, and another 50 g of white kaolin clay. Pour the herbs with a small amount of boiling water, wrap and let it brew for about half an hour. Strain. Add to clay and stir. You should get a homogeneous creamy mass. Combine the ingredients in a ceramic bowl and mix thoroughly until a homogeneous creamy mass is obtained. Apply to the face with a cosmetic brush. Keep 15-20 min. Wash off with cool water. Potato starch can be used instead of oatmeal.
Whitening mask with chamomile and powdered milk.
If you need to remove local redness, hide traces of post-acne and pigmentation, make the skin lighter, and give the face freshness, a very simple but effective mask with chamomile and powdered milk will help.
For the mask, you need to take 1 tablespoon of chamomile inflorescences, 1 tablespoon of powdered milk and one tablespoon of Hercules flakes. Grind the flakes in a coffee grinder and mix with milk.
